Rosa Wildlife Reserve is a sanctuary for prehistoric animals brought back by a controversial bioscience project. The Reserve was founded to care for them.
Rosa herself was one of the first to be taken in. She is still our ambassador today.
Our rules, profiles, resources, mods and creature stats are all built with the community in mind.

Notice · Questions for the profile writersSend in a question about any profile. One per species is picked, and the writers answer them in an upcoming edition.
Characters and sprouts from the Reserve, picked at random every day. No page shows two days in a row.

Each season changes the weather, the map and nesting, and brings its own migration zone rich in food and nesting material.
Storms, pouring rain, and growth.
Water is everywhere, and animals gather around it. Nesting is at its easiest, and more of the map opens up.
Sickness, dwindling resources, and danger.
The lean season. Food becomes scarce, illness spreads, and the migration zone becomes worth fighting over.
Heat, dry firestorms, and renewal.
Fire reshapes the landscape, so the Reserve looks different every cycle.

The Reserve has Temperate, Tropical and Coastal regions, with mixed zones where they meet. Our Home Advantage system gives each animal small stat boosts in the region it belongs to. Some species never settle and follow the migration zones instead.

Detailed species profiles, stat changes and mods make realistic behavior the easy choice. You get room to play your own story inside clear rules.
A first offense usually gets a reminder, not a penalty. Trolling, provoking others and deliberate disruption get consequences, and quickly.
Territorial animals can challenge others based on species, size and things like nearby young. A carcass lasts a long time, so you don’t have to sit and guard it. Conflict becomes part of the story, not a reason to file a report.
Our profiles and resources are long, and reading them takes time. We want experienced players to answer questions, not avoid newcomers.

People run and study the Reserve. With the trail cameras, you can play one of them: a biologist, an intern, a reporter or a paleontologist. You watch the animals as a researcher instead of speaking for them.
A revived animal was taken in by Reserve staff, cared for, and released again once it recovered.
Some animals move to enclosures near base camp for closer observation. The character’s story ends, but not for good.
Reserve scientists place orphaned clutches with brooding pairs, same-gender pairs included, who raise the young as their own. A pair may also find a clutch themselves.
Bring six characters from another server, then one a month, up to twelve in total. You write the backstory.

Our modding team writes custom systems for Rosa that work with both vanilla and modded playables.
First, adrenaline gives you forty-five seconds of extra speed and stamina. Then damage, health and recovery drop for up to fifteen minutes, followed by a milder recovering stage. Rest and food shorten both.
Turn it on with a command to find others of your species in the game. Most carnivores can track carcasses, and most herbivores can track berry bushes.
Every animal gets most of the options from its base diet. Ceratopsians and sauropods can eat bone, for example.
Some species stop growing at a different stage for each gender. Males and females look different and are balanced separately.
Grass to graze, rocks to shelter under and mineral licks. A lick is food and gives a lasting boost to health recovery.
The Genetic pack blends two vanilla skins, so a hatchling can look like both parents. The Realism pack is custom work matched to each profile.

We keep the roster small on purpose. Every playable fills a niche no other one does. We judge each one on its model, sounds, animations, kit, balance and skins.
There are no fully aquatic or large flying playables yet. We'll look at adding them after the beta launch.
Made by their own creators. We run them here.
We would rather you observed your animals as a researcher than spoke for them as a human in a dinosaur suit.

Most of the application is multiple choice on our rules, resources and species profiles, so read those first. A few written questions ask about you and how you play.
Huge carnivores need a second application, all multiple choice. You can take it a month after you're accepted, once you have ten hours of playtime. You get two attempts, then a one-week wait.
No form or ticket needed. Sign in with the Discord account you’ll use on the Reserve, then press the button below.
A Path of Titans realism server and its Discord community. You play one dinosaur at a time, as an animal, and a character that dies is gone for good. Characters court, nest, pass their looks to their young and get their own page on this site.
The game server isn't open yet, and there's no launch date. Until then we only use it for official events. Applications open at launch, and we'll announce it in Discord and on the news page. Anything sent before then doesn't count as an application.
The roster is on the front page, with a page per species. 35 species are playable right now, 3 of them apex. The mods the Reserve runs alongside them are Arazoa Creator, Cinders Server Manager, Dodo's Wildlife Skin Pack, Dynasty Morph Skins, IoA Vita et Mors, In Real Life Skinpack and Radical Rocks. We add playables over time, but the roster stays small on purpose and we don't take suggestions for it. We judge a playable on its model, textures, skins, sounds, animations, emotes, kit, the niche it fills and how close it is to one we already have.
Riparia, the map that comes with the game. A modded map's team can change or remove it at any time, and our balance, rules and profiles depend on a map that stays the same.
Post feedback in the alpha feedback channel in Discord, using the template there. We don't take roster suggestions or feedback on profiles that aren't open for it. We can only help with our own mods. For any other mod, ask its team.
We announce open positions in the applications channel in Discord. Pick the Update Ping role in role signups to get pinged.
You play your dinosaur the way the animal would live, not as a person in a dinosaur suit. The rules cover hunting, herds, diet and how you treat other animals. To play a human, you can be a researcher on the trail cameras.
No, playing is free. Patreon donations pay for the servers, and supporters get a matching role in Discord. We don't sell anything in the game, and a donation never buys an advantage.
Huge carnivores need a second application, all multiple choice. You can take it after a month as a member and ten hours of playtime. You get two attempts, then a one-week wait.
Thirteen, the same as Discord. The site asks once, before you write anything. An account that answers under thirteen stays closed until the answer changes.
The character is gone for good, but its page, family tree and young stay. You make a new character and start again. The Reserve is in its Monsoon season right now.
In the questions channel in Discord. Search it first, since most questions have been answered there already.

Donations pay for the game server, the Discord server and the tools behind both. Link Patreon on your dashboard to get a matching role in Discord.

Alpha: no public server yet
Rosa is in alpha, and the game server isn't public yet. We hold in-game events for new profiles and release rules and resources as they're done. Beta launches once every profile is finished, and there's no date yet.
At beta, every sprout applies again. You keep your Early Worm role.

Once the Reserve pays for itself and has enough saved, we plan to give any extra Patreon income to real-world animal conservation.

Applications are read by people, not by a form. Tell us who you are and how you like to play, and a member of staff will get back to you.
